When You Are Deaf and Can Not Hear? What Do You Do?

When you have a hearing problem the most logical first step is to get hearing aids. Hearing aids are expensive and some people can’t afford them. Or they do not want to mess with them. Therefore, they can’t hear.

What happens when you want to receive or make phone calls? There isn’t always another person for your convenience.

There is a service called California Relay Service. With one phone call you can receive your equipment in your own home.

It is a TTY Telephone with a keyboard and a screen. You can make your phone call with an operator to assist you. You will type your message to the operator and the operator will speak to your phone partner and type his response back to you.

The world is at your disposable.
