At the Lions Club meeting on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at 7:00 the past District Governor, Juanita Mangels Williams, District 4-L6 asked to get the word out about a fundraiser. This fundraiser is a Pageant for young women. The Spring Valley club is sponsoring Liz Tamez. She is a community minded woman and is committed to supporting the Lions Club fundraising actives. Liz is committed to raising funds for children who need glasses, hearing aids, summer camps for the Risk Children, and many other projects. She has served hot dogs and hamburgers at schools, participated in medical missions and many other projects. In order to support Liz we are asking for you to take out an ad in a Directory which would help her win.
